In this article, I’d like to share with you 5 mistakes you need to avoid to get out of your comfort zone.
Comfort zone is the danger zone.
Comfort zone is the enemy we must combat at all cost if you we want live our true potential.
Perhaps one of the big reasons why people live a mediocre life is because they’re caged in their comfort zone.
Without a doubt, fear is the first obstacle we encounter when would like to do something new.
Change can be nerve-wracking for a lot of people, because your brain will come up with army of doubts, fears, scary thoughts to keep you in your safe zone.
So we don’t know how to deal with that, we try to use our limited conscious energy to block this flow of negativity, and subsequently most of us quit.
Or maybe you decided to take this first leap and give your all to outdo your comfort zone, and do things differently in your life.
But in the midst of the path, you feel you like you want to quit because is too tough.
Honestly, I made several mistakes when I took the decision to change my life and take a different path.
There’s nothing wrong with making mistakes, because it shows that we’re want to leave out comfort zone, and experience new things in life.
For me the big failure is keep doing the same mistakes and not learn the lessons.
This is why I want to share my mistakes with you to save you time and energy and really get to your destinations quickly.
5 Mistakes You Need To Avoid To Get Out of Your Comfort Zone
Mistake #1: Don’t having any reason
If you don’t know where you’re going, it’s very hard to keep the pace when things are challenging.
You goal must be combined with a burning and keen desire why you want take a different path, and leave your comfort zone.
So when an obstacle arises, you’ll have the strength to pursuit your desires and fulfil your dreams.
List down at least 3 must-urgent reasons why you want to make this or that change, and invoke emotions into that.

Mistake #2: Doing too many things at once
This is a trap that many people fall into when we would like to experience new things.
What happens is, the excitement that we get, pushes us to literally wanting to turn around our life overnight, once we lose excitement, we get overwhelmed, so we give up.
So, you have to learn how to be patient with the change, and keep in mind transformation takes time.
What I start doing instead is just focusing on one thing for specific number of days.
Let’s say for example I’d like to be calm, and happy. I ask myself: what’s the habit that I need to do in order in reach that goal.
I came up with an answer like meditation.
For 60 days straight, I will only meditate. I promise myself to not add any habits until I’ll finish successfully this challenge.
Just focus one behavior at a time, and you’ll see magnificent results in the future.
Mistake #3: Doing things in your own
Doing things in your own is one the biggest mistakes that many of us make, and in the end we get none.
There are lot of motives why we choose learning things in our own, one of them we pretend we’re going to save money by searching for free stuff.
It’s just an illusion.
The smartest way to work on your goal, is to look for someone who’ve already achieved a certain result, buy his course, and implement the information in it.
Literally you’re shortening your learning curve by going through someone else’s experience, and saving a lot of years.
Don’t be afraid to buy a course. Look for someone who resonates with you, and consume his products.

Mistake #4: Relying on willpower
Willpower don’t last. Is a fickle energy. Even that, we still rely upon willpower to make things happen.
We’re constantly pushing ourselves to do this or that task, which is too exhausting.
As I said change takes time. What you need to do instead is to commit on very small habits so you can’t say no.
Let’s say you want to meditate for example. Just start by 1-minute meditation as first thing in the morning after you wake up.
Stick with it for a specific span of days.
Mistake #5: Starting big
The fifth biggest mistake is starting big. We come up with unrealistic goals that are way beyond our skills, that’s why most of us give up.
Take only baby steps. If you want to lose weight, focus developing the habits to go to the gym first, especially if you’re a big procrastinator.
Once it becomes easy then set another goal that’s realistic and you know you can achieve.
Avoid these mistakes at all costs to achieve your desires much faster.
