In this blog post, I’d like to share with you 7 great ways to easily get out of your comfort zone, and find your spark in life.

So, the big challenging thing that most people encounter in their lives to stepping outside their comfort zone, and doing something non habitual.

You need to understand that our mind is not designed to make us happy. Your mind is designed to you keep safe. Its whole purpose is survival.

But the good news your mind malleable, meaning you can rewire it, and recondition it in a way that will work for you not against you.

In order to do that you need practical ways and tools to successfully get out of your comfort zone.

Let’s dive into the 7 great ways to easily get out of your comfort zone:

 

1.Identify what’s stopping you

The first step is to identify what is the main obstacle that is stopping from taking a leap of faith, and start taking action.

Because if you aren’t clear by what’s holding you back, it’s going to be really hard to take action, and sparkle the process of change.

In most cases, it’s fear, but it could more than that. Questioning your emotions and not ignoring them, it’s the best way to know what’s crippling your taking action.

 

2.Start with small tasks

When you want to start or change any behavior, a great way to do so, is to start incredibly small.

The reason for that, is to avoid any resistance from your subconscious mind, and make the process of changing incremental.

Also, you don’t need any willpower. Our mind uses the willpower as trick that the only thing we need to spawn a change, but the reality is not, because it’s not sustainable.

 

3.Set a new routines and habits

Our life is the sum of your habits, and changing them means getting your comfort zone because you’re trying a new thing.

So when you start a new a habit, there are some sort of nagging emotions that pop up in your chest, and it’s uncomfortable. That’s completely normal.

As we said, earlier in this article, your mind is always in survival mode, and in those moments it’s trying to keep you in your comfort zone.

The great way to genuinely combat those unpleasant emotions, is first recognize them, and start small for about just one or two minutes and stop.

For example, when I started writing articles, I had no idea how to do it, and the reason is because my English was so limited, and simply the task was completely new, so I was frightened just by thinking about it.

What I did, I chunked the task in different session throughout the day, 5 minutes each, just to build a little of momentum, and be familiar with writing articles.

 

4.Read a self-help book

Reading a self-help books is tremendously powerful to develop a new philosophy of your own world, and that could be a helpful way to get out of your comfort zone.

Because getting of your comfort zone is just a thinking factor. You need to revamp your thinking, by learning from other people, which automatically will lead you to take different actions.

Build a habit of reading self-help books by applying the simple framework that shared in the previous tips.

5.Get a mentor or a coach

If you’re facing a lot of obstacles to change your routines, and trying to do something new, asking for help, it’s really important.

I’m a big believer that everyone should have a mentor when it comes to spawning a change in his life.

Trying to do things in your own, it’s just kind of a suicidal act that going to lead to a path of stress, anxiety, and getting results is hugely slim.

We are so blessed to live in digital age where the information is everywhere, and easily accessible, and you can follow people who already created the results that you want.

 

6.Get new friends

Meeting new people is also a great way to get out of your comfort zone.

We are social creatures right! Whether you’re introverted or extroverted, you’re naturally programmed to meet new people.

Go to your Facebook’s list of friend, and start a conversion with someone you’ve never spoke with.
