How To Be Productive: 5 Productivity Habits To Achieve Your Goals Faster
In this article I’d like to share with 5 productivity tips on how to be productive so you can achieve your goals faster.
One of the big pitfalls that many people around the globe are falling in is to not valuing their time.
Time is priceless. The way how your trait your time has a direct effect on the quality of your life, and thus your outcome.
We all have the same amount of time, and the problem we can’t have more of it, is limited.
So, your perception towards your time, will massively impact your decisions and choices.
The reason why successful people are in the top of the staircase because they understood the value of their time, and they’re making sure that they spending it wisely, and not throwing it away on things that could steal their focus.
Be honest with yourself and ask yourself these questions?
- what do I do with my time?
- Am I giving importance to my time?
- Am I spending my time wisely?
The process of asking questions is very powerful in a way that will trigger your mind to come up with solutions.
So time management starts first by giving value to your time and shifting how you perceive it.
You can have the best and sophisticated time management plan in the world, but if you’re not serious about your time, nothing will work for you.
So the key for a better productivity is how your approach your time and the value you put into.
Let me share with my time management system that personally use to be focused and more productive
Productivity Habit #1: Have a to-do-list
Writing your tasks is imperative for having a productive day.
I can’t tell you how this tool is important, because the day when I don’t make a list, I feel like I’m lost, and unclear which get me frustrated and overloaded.
Don’t having a list will dampen your confidence as well, because you didn’t achieve anything important that will take you to the next level.
So make sure you make a list every single day, before you start it.
Know that making a list is a habit, and you need to be consistent with it to produce maximum results.
I’m bringing this up, because a lot people start a new habit but they drop it because they don’t know how to maintain it.
The big mistake that most people do is they start big, and they rely on motivation to keep momentum up.
The key formula of success is to build small habits and be consistent with them through a long period of time.
Prioritizing your tasks is really important to get most out of your days, and hit your target quickly.

Productivity Habit #2: See your to-do-list most often throughout the day
Getting in the habit of seeing your to-do-list most often throughout the day it’s a key ingredient to stay focused.
The reason why it’s so important is because it’s going help you to stay on track whenever an external temptation comes up.
So to prevent being distracted by external stimulus, make sure you’re pulling up your list few times a day just for a reminding purposes.
Productivity Habit #3: Stay consistent
As I mentioned above, consistency is the key for achieving great results in anything you can think of in life.
Consistency is the only trait that separates the winners from the losers.
I see it as mindset more than a habit, because if you have this quality it’s going to help to progress in any field you want to have success with.
One way you can stay consistent with the process of writing your to-do list to begin with one task a day, and doing it for about 15 days.
After you get the ball rolling a little bit, and you’ve accustomed with the habit, take the same “one task” habit up to 30 days.
By doing so, you’ll cultivate the consistency and more than that you’ll strengthen you’re patience muscle.
Productivity Habit #4: Celebrate your wins
Acknowledging what you’ve accomplished so far, is a great way to take your consistency muscle to the next level, and make the habit flourishing.
Your mind needs feedback. If you don’t give credit of what you’re doing, you will just alter your confidence, and thus that can lead to quitting.
I think ignoring your achievements is very devastating to your ability to keep up the pace, and stay consistent.
One of the reasons why we get deluded is we don’t act on things because they aren’t big enough.
But if you want to achieve your goals faster than everybody, you need to pay attention to the small wins you’ve achieved along the road.
By doing so, it will give all the fuel you need to continue working on your craft, tackle those difficulties away, and keep standing while others are crumbling.
Productivity Habit #5: Be accountable to others
If you have hard time to be disciplined and stick with your thing, holding yourself accountable to others is the ultimate solution.
The time when you tell someone who’s close to you, a friend or family member, you can’t back out, because unconsciously you don’t want to lose your self-worth in their eyes.
Be honest with yourself, if you couldn’t be disciplined and consistent, and probably it’s one of your biggest weaknesses, then being accountable to others is the remedy to hit your goals.
Bonus tip: Measure your progress
The greatest motivator factor is progress, and without you’ll lose easily sight where you want to be in.
All successful business owner is tracking their numbers to know the efficacy of their procedures, and come up with new adjustments if things are not working well.
For example, if you have online business, the first imperative thing without a doubt is setting up google analytics to have some numbers like traffic for example so you can know if your strategies are efficient or not.
So, hopefully those tips served you to manage your time well, and most importantly achieve anything you set out to do.
Always remember knowledge without action is worthless. Turning those tips into action is the only route to get tangible results.
